It's not like I have him get a buzz cut. I want you to know how much I appreciate the sacrifices you and the boys make so your ward can have such a wonderful bishop.
There have been many times over the last 10 years that I pulled out a letter Mark wrote me when he was the bishop in Lynden. I'm sure I wasn't easy on either of you, but you'll never know how far your love and patience has gone.
I hope you have a better week next week!
Love,
AbbeyAbbey Chasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14191429108139348513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3844262728304639524.post-66362056065238933412009-01-23T06:22:00.000-08:002009-01-23T06:22:00.000-08:00Why does it seem that the more money we make the m...Why does it seem that the more money we make the more we as a society become inept? I'm serious...Our ward has a lot of people that make good money but have become so inept to their own problem solving skills...As if they have to buy someone to do it for them.. It bugs me to no end ..I spend so much time repenting to our Heavenly Father about this for "judging"..This has got me to thinking even more about the story you posted earlier about the different wards and demographics of needing money. With this recesion you would think it would bring people closer together and get back to their bare roots. Remember what we were taught when we were young..Remember how are families trecked out to Utah..Remember how they pulled together during harsh winter months, and droubt filled summers. But for some it has just sent them into a further panic and have become more inept..
I have been praying strongly daily that there are more days that Mark is able to spend more time with you and the boys and less time, wiping the noses of those that seem to forgot how. (I'm judging again..I need to go get on my needs and repent again)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3844262728304639524.post-64885992039027417632009-01-13T20:22:00.000-08:002009-01-13T20:22:00.000-08:00Thank you - I'm glad you're enjoying the blog!Thank you - I'm glad you're enjoying the blog!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572858082950100600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3844262728304639524.post-89258476201763098722009-01-13T14:21:00.000-08:002009-01-13T14:21:00.000-08:00Thanks for your blog. It's simple to blend in - make sure your top has sleeves and doesn't show a lot of cleavage and you'll be more comfy if your skirt goes at least to your knees. You can wear a dress or a skirt and top. Denim is fine unless it's really grungy. If the Savior was going to be there that day, how would you dress? That's a good rule to go by. I would do my best to look my best.

Let me know if I can help you in any way!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572858082950100600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3844262728304639524.post-37727022768818173992009-01-01T12:58:00.000-08:002009-01-01T12:58:00.000-08:00I am in young woman's wanting to return to chuch.....I am in young woman's wanting to return to chuch...Could you please write a post on the appropriate clothing to wear to church. I want to come back with minimal drama and drawing inappropriate attention to myself. Are denim skirts appropriate? What should the neck line be? Can I wear skirts and tops instead of dresses? is it required I wear hose or can I be bare legged?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3844262728304639524.post-48769461438612131602008-12-23T15:50:00.000-08:002008-12-23T15:50:00.000-08:00Wishing You, Mark, and the boys (N and D) a very M...Wishing You, Mark, and the boys (N and D) a very Merry Christmas. At Christmas time I gave birth to a little boy. I had no money..What money I did have was with a lawyer to help save the kids from the ex.

Someone from your church adopted us as their family that year. I cried so much. I was given toys, and clothes for the children. Clothing not just for newborn but up to age two and my little girl someone had really spent money on her. They bought the most beautiful girly dresses. I wondered if the mom wanted girls or just loved dressing up girls. I never got to meet the family to thank them. I prayed many nights, and I sent a thank you letter to the church. Never did I hear from them.

I am grateful for those people that first Christmas, it was hard to deal with. It was emotional to say the least.

You are setting a fine example to your boys..I'm so grateful for your example you are showing the boys. They will grow up to be fine young men of the world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3844262728304639524.post-78973536740661983002008-11-17T08:39:00.000-08:002008-11-17T08:39:00.000-08:00There's a benefit for being a Branch President rat...There's a benefit for being a Branch President rather than a Bishop of a ward ~ Tithing settlement only 2 days a week.
